These are real butterfly wing earrings made with the species Blue birdwing Ornithoptera urvillianus. These earrings are a beautiful light Blue and black on one side and a deep blue and black on the other side.
I use a clear UV glass that is hand soldered using lead free silver solder creating a beautiful framed butterfly wing. Each piece is truly one of a kind.
All of my butterflies are ethically sourced. Every butterfly has lived a full life so no wing is perfect
I use surgical steel for all my earring hooks and posts. All of my jewelry is nickel free.

All my jewellery is handmade in Calgary, Alberta in my home studio.
